This policy covers two different things: the EyeOn Automations website, and the EyeOn builder bench — the working-style assessment at contractor-screening.vercel.app. The bench collects considerably more about you than the website does, so it has its own sections below.
EyeOn Automations (“EyeOn,” “we,” “us”) builds custom software, AI tools, and AI training for construction and real estate operators. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

If you fill in the AI Readiness quiz or any contact form, we collect your name, email address, and, where you provide them, company name and company size, along with your answers to the quiz questions.
If you subscribe to our emails, or receive them as a result of taking the quiz, we keep your email address and a record of which messages we have sent you. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all marketing email from us.
We also collect ordinary web analytics — pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, browser and device type — through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. See section 11.
The builder bench is a working-style assessment for developers and builders who want EyeOn to represent them. It is optional, it is free, and it collects more than the website does. If you complete it, we collect:
Your IP address is used momentarily to rate-limit the submission endpoint against spam. It is not written to our records and is not retained.
We do not ask for, and do not want, your date of birth, gender, nationality, photograph, government ID, financial details, or any health information. Please do not include information of that kind in your free-text answers or your video.
Website information is used to send you the results of the quiz, to follow up about working together, and to send you our emails until you unsubscribe.
Builder bench information is used for one purpose: to build a written profile of how you work, so we can put you in front of EyeOn projects and, if you have consented, companies hiring through us. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where the law requires a legal basis, ours is your consent (which you can withdraw at any time) and our legitimate interest in running a talent bench and a business.
We use Anthropic’s Claude API to turn your assessment answers into a written, readable profile. Your answers and derived scores are sent to that API for this purpose.
Your name is never included in what we send to the model. The profile is written about “this person” throughout. We do this deliberately: names carry signals about gender and ethnicity that have no business shaping a description of how someone works.
No automated decision is made about you on the basis of that output. A human — Kelly — reads every profile and decides what to do with it. You can ask us for a copy of your profile, and you can tell us if you think it is wrong.
We share builder bench profiles with companies hiring through EyeOn only if you ticked the consent box when you started the assessment. Without that consent we cannot accept the submission at all.
Even with consent, what goes out first is the profile — how you work, your stack, your availability. Your email address and your video are only shared after you have agreed to a specific introduction. You can withdraw that consent at any time, and we will stop showing your profile to anyone.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
We use a small number of vendors to run these services. They process information on our instructions only:
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.
Builder bench profiles are kept for 24 months from your submission. After that we either check in with you to confirm you want to stay on the bench, or we delete the record.
Quiz and enquiry records are kept while there is an active conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards. Email subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. Records we need for tax or contractual reasons are kept as long as the law requires.
If you ask us to delete your information, we do it — see the next section.
Whatever country you are in, you can ask us to do all of the following, and we will:
One email is enough. Write to kelly@eyeonautomations.com and say what you want done. We will respond within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason, and asking will never count against you.
If you are in the EEA or the UK and you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have the rights described in the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them — and note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there.
EyeOn is based in California, and our service providers are primarily in the United States. If you are outside the US — and many people on the bench are — your information is transferred to and stored in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your own country.
By submitting the assessment you are asking us to represent you to companies that are largely US-based, which necessarily involves that transfer. Where required, we rely on your consent and on standard contractual clauses with our providers.
This website uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. These set cookies in your browser. We may also use the Meta pixel to measure advertising we run on Facebook and Instagram.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. The builder bench assessment itself does not run analytics or advertising trackers — it stores your in-progress answers in your own browser so you do not lose them if you refresh, and that is all.
Our website and the builder bench are intended for adults working professionally. They are not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will email people on the bench rather than rely on this page alone.
Questions, requests, or complaints about privacy go to kelly@eyeonautomations.com, or by post to 3857 Birch St #454, Newport Beach, CA 92660, United States.
