14 years at Pulte in sales, land development, and construction. Now I help builders use AI and build systems that fit how they actually run.
I work mostly with small and mid-size builders, roughly under $500M.
Book a Fit CallMy background
I spent 14 years at Pulte in sales, land development, and construction across Arizona and California.
When Pulte built its internal scheduling system, I sat on the project advisory board. I also trained trade partners on Pulte’s internal software, and I was their support contact when they had issues.
Toward the end, I was the only person on my team using Power Automate, and I was automating my own job. That’s when I realized I should leave and do this for other companies.
I wrote more about that time, and where homebuilder software is heading now, in the homebuilder software shakeout.
Case study
The builder was fed up with MarkSystems. Simple tasks took clicking through multiple screens, and they lost a purchasing manager partly over how hard the system was to use.
We’re building them a custom system that covers the full flow. The sales consultant writes the contract with the buyer right in the model home, with everything on screen. From there it moves to contract, then into purchasing, with no re-entry along the way.
The back end holds thousands of options, mapped to plans and elevations, so each plan only shows the elevations and options that apply to it.
The goal is a system that’s easy, straightforward, and fast for the people using it every day. The owner is excited about what we’re building.
Status: in active build. This system isn’t live yet.
Where the sale happens
Your sales consultants sit with buyers in the model, picking options and writing the contract. That’s where the system has to be fast and clear, and every step after it should pick up what was already entered.

What I help builders with
I get your sales, purchasing, and construction teams using Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT on real work, plus an AI policy so customer data is handled right. See AI training and readiness audits.
Tools built around how you already work, like sales contracts in the model home, options and elevation setup, and purchasing. For the right size builder, that can mean replacing the whole back office. We build in Softr or fully custom code, depending on what fits. See custom operating systems.
If you’re weighing a big platform against a custom build, I laid out how I think about it in custom software vs. Procore.
Homebuilder FAQ
If your team is fighting the software, a custom system built around how you actually sell, contract, and purchase can be a better fit. We're replacing MarkSystems for an Ohio homebuilder right now, covering everything from the model home contract through purchasing.
